Piura. Five low-income students access the higher education program “Sinersa Scholarships at the Piuras´s University” This was announced by Eng. Víctor Contreras Quelopana, Superintendent of Plants in Piura, who officially welcomed the new scholarship holders in the Scholarship Commitment Signing ceremony, held in the IME auditorium of the Piura´s University.
The beneficiary students for this year are Segundo Smith Delgado Marcelo, William Alonso Morales Gallo, Leonardo Gabriel Lachira Chero, who will study Industrial and Systems Engineering; Luis Josetp Paulini Abad and Bryan David Morales Rumiche, the architecture career at UDEP.
Since 2005, SINERSA has awarded a total of 96 scholarships to children of farmers and children of their workers, whose investment amounts to more than 2.6 million soles. Currently, we have 18 professionals graduated from UDEP, some of them are working at its facilities, and 26 scholarship holders continue their studies at this University.
