SCHOLARSHIPS SINERSA: Five new beneficiaries start studies at UDEP

Five students with limited financial resources and good academic skills join the SINERSA Scholarships program this 2020, they will study a professional career at the University of Piura (UDEP). The new scholars have begun studies in Civil Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Electrical Mechanical Engineering.
Mr. Branislav Zdravkovic, General Manager of Sindicato Energético S.A. (SINERSA), indicated that this program is developed with the aim of contributing to the development of the towns surrounding the Curumuy and Poechos hydroelectric plants, through university student training. For his part, Dr. Antonio Abruña, rector of the UDEP, welcomed the new scholars and encouraged them to responsibly assume the benefit of the scholarship so that they can successfully complete their careers. This scholarship program began in 2005 with the signing of an agreement between SINERSA and UDEP. Since that year to date, a total of 80 scholarships have been awarded.
